PAFCS Annual Conference - Save the Date for the PAFCS Annual Conference to be held March 22 - 24, 2012 at The Desmond Conference Center in Valley Forge, PA AAFCS National ConferenceAAFCS 103rd Annual Conference & Expo "Connecting Professionals: Leadership in Action" Dietary WebinarThe Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition, collaborated with the Pennsylvania Department of Health, Division of School Health, to provide a Special Dietary Needs Webinar Training for School Nurses and School Food Service Professionals. The number of students being diagnosed with special dietary needs and food allergies increases each year. It is important that school nurses and food service directors understand the laws, regulations, and their respective responsibilities regarding students with special dietary needs. Although, the webinar targets school nurses and school food service professionals, other school staff involved with serving students with special dietary needs may want to view the webinar. Act 48 credits may be requested for viewing the recorded webinar only if you view from the Pennsylvania Department of Health's Learning Management System website at www.paprepared.net. You will need to register for an account, but this is free. Note: Once you register, it takes 1 to 3 days for your username and password to be emailed to you.
